The 21 Day Fix is my favorite Beachbody 21 day fix program. The nutrition plan is so simple, and the portion-controlled container system played a huge part in my 70 pound weight loss this last year.  I highly encourage all of my own Beachbody clients to do this program before starting any other. The 21 Day Fix has been a way for me to monitor what I eat during the day–I’ve been using it for a couple of years now. You’ll soon see that the Fix is not a starvation-based diet. Yes, the containers look small but you will be amazed at the amount of food that hits your plate. In fact, one of the most common concerns I hear are those wondering what to do when they can’t finish all their food for the day. This is what happens when you start eating healthy.

It’s up to you to organize the order of which containers you eat first. I find useful to have my own weekly calendar with all the daily 5 meals (3 main meals and 2 snacks) planned in advance. After I print the calendar I then stick it on my fridge so I can check it in the morning. It also makes it easier to organize my grocery list. 21-day-fixDrinking water is always good; it helps to keep you hydrated and is a good way to reduce your appetite between meals or snacks. You can also drink coffee and tea but in my personal experience, I found tea works best.

Think about what you like most to eat when you wake up, for a morning snack, at lunch time, for an afternoon snack and for dinner. However, it’s always recommended that you plan 3 main meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. In between meals is good to have snacks so you don’t get too hungry waiting for the next meal. Prepare 2 or 3 snacks a day between the main meals. This fitness routine provides a simple way to dieting and exercise! I initially included this section in my review, because if you hate the word yah, you will never get past your first workout since it’s one of the trainer’s favorite words. The good news is that the workouts have either been edited or re-shot as my more recent following of the program online, I have not noticed this – at all. Who says winter means slowing down? Now is actually the perfect time to work on your summer body.
